1. It is recommended to use Gmail address.

2. Log in your Google account, then go to ‘Security’ to enable 2-step verification.

3. Search for App passwords to generate your App password.

4. Name Guard Viewer as the App name.

5. Click ‘Done’ and remember your App password. 

6. Access the NVR on the monitor, go to ‘Network→P2P’ to check if the device status is Connected or Online. (The NVR must be connected to a router to get internet service)

7. Go to ‘Network→email’ to fill in your email information

User name: your Gmail address

Password: your Google account App password

SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com

SMTP port: 587

Tick Enable TLS/SSL

Sender name: you can name it by yourself

Sender address: your Gmail address

Recipient name: you can name it by yourself

Recipient address: the recipient`s email address

8. Click Test to check if the email setup is successful.

9. Go to ‘VCA--Human Body Detection’ and click ‘Trigger Action’.  ）

10. Tick Send Email.
