1. Please connect DVR to router with a network cable and make sure it connects to router and Internet successfully. This is method:

2. Please fix DVR's IP. This is method:

3. Please apply a DDNS account the DVR supports. Here we take no-ip DDNS as an example. We go there to apple a DDNS account:
Notice: if your network's external IP is static, not dynamic, you don't need set up DDNS and you can skip step 3 and step 4.
4. Please fill out DDNS information into DVR's DDNS setting.
5. Use computer to go to the router's page to do port forwarding with DVR's IP, http port and media port. Here is method where to find DVR's IP,http port and media port.

We will take our router as an example. The port forwarding setting varies from different. Picture below is just for reference.
After you finish port forwarding, you can open this to check if port is open:
Finally, if DDNS and port forwarding succeed, address can be opened anywhere on any computer.(Notice: if your network's external IP is static, not dynamic, the remote view address is)
For phone view, please still use the app Xmeye. But when you add system, please use the DDNS address and media port number, not camera's SN. Finally, when you are outside, the phone can still connect the system to view.
